Terry L. Ensley Ph.D. – Ruling Elder

 

Terry and his wife Elizabeth (Liz) live in Jackson County.  They have six children, Beth, who is married and lives in Auburn, AL, where her husband is finishing school at Auburn; David, a junior at UGA who plans to be a dentist; John, a high school senior; James, Rebecca (Becky) and Ruth.  For the past 14 years Terry has taught horticulture at Winder-Barrow High School.  Previously he was Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University in Ruston, LA for 5 years.  He received his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University, and he is a graduate of the University of Georgia.  Terry and his family have been active at Northside Church for 14 years, and he has been an officer since 1999.   

Terry grew up on a farm on the Georgia-Tennessee state line near Cohutta, Georgia, in Whitfield County.  He has been Music Director at two churches and Music/choir director at an additional four churches.  He is currently Music & Choir director at Northside
